Resume
Intro
Currently, I'm a strategy-loving, UX-obsessed design lead. I believe in purposeful brand positioning, intentional design, and a human-centred approach. I have an appreciation for tactful (or unconventional) AI use and automation, but I worked damn hard to gain the experience I have so over my dead body will I outsource my critical thinking and professional judgement to AI. My approach throughout has been shaped by a belief that the best work (whatever the medium) happens when creativity and empathy work together.
I value clarity, structure, and straightforward communication, and I work best in environments where there's room for honesty, curiosity, trust, and the occasional well-timed shenanigan. I take my work seriously but not myself.

Education
Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing
Red & Yellow Creative School of Business
2022–2024
Ps. I wrote about finally getting this diploma while in my 30s. You can read it here.
Recent Short Courses
Public Relations (2025) | Red & Yellow Creative School of Business
Creative Thinking (2024) | Red & Yellow Creative School of Business
The rest of my education is all self-directed: automation, AI, coding, software upskilling, and whatever else catches my attention long enough to hyperfocus on.
I have the delusional confidence that I can do anything if I'm interested enough.
Experience
Modern Day Strategy - Design Lead
September 2026 - present
As part of my role, I focus on developing strong user experience (UX) foundations for end-to-end digital product development (including comprehensive journey and flow mapping and platform logic) and designing the UI for the various digital platforms (websites, web applications, and mobile interfaces). I also do more general brand-based design work and internal brand and marketing strategy development and execution.
Inkblot Design - Head of Brand & Marketing
May 2025 - August 2026
As Inkblot’s Head of Brand & Marketing, I saw marketing, brand strategy, and brand-led design direction: building a consistent, trustworthy presence across our content touchpoints while supporting client growth through clarity and craft. I worked across both Inkblot’s internal brand and client brand development, translating strategy into content, campaigns, and brand identity systems that are practical, human, and built to last.
What I did:
- Brand strategy & positioning: define/reinforce Inkblot’s unique narrative, offer clarity, and differentiation (and apply the same strategic know-how to client brands).
- Messaging & brand voice: develop messaging frameworks, tone guidance, and story angles that speak to both business outcomes and implementation reality.
- Content strategy & direction: plan and steer our content pillars and cross-platform flow (blog/LinkedIn/Instagram), ensuring content is useful, specific, and credibility-building.
- LinkedIn + Instagram strategy: shape platform positioning, content formats, cadence, and community-building rituals (and guide what “good” looks like for quality engagement).
- Brand development (client-facing): lead discovery, brand foundations (audience, positioning, brand story, etc.), messaging, and creative direction, and brand identity design, with execution support as required.
- Measurement + iteration: support a practical approach to attribution and growth tracking so marketing decisions stay anchored to outcomes, not noise.
Services I was involved in (strategic + directional): brand strategy, messaging, content strategy, social strategy, campaign direction, case study storytelling and development, and brand-led design support, especially where the brand needs to “hold” through real implementation.

AI & Automation
I use AI as a strategic thinking stretcher and building tool. It's become a part of how I work every day across strategy, systems and process design and prototyping.
What I build with:
Claude Code, n8n, Make.com, and Google AI Studio.
A few things I've built:
A sentiment analysis workflow that pulls Facebook inbox messages, analyses them for topic and tone, and feeds a Looker Studio dashboard for monthly reporting. A proof-of-concept (while consulting for Octoco.AI) for architects that watches incoming emails, analyses client requests against project context and regulations, and flags contradictions in an interactive review dashboard in Notion. A Pinterest board analysis tool that uses AI to extract design direction and aesthetic themes into a client-ready summary. An iOS app for tracking my neurodiverse brain, analysing weekly trends and patterns. And a small automation that writes me a haiku every morning based on things I like, delivered directly to me in Slack.
